Flood in my place : Birbhum

Many of the rivers that originate on the Choto Nagpur Plateau and flow down into West Bengal are rain fed and have for ages wrought havoc with their seasonal floods.In the rest of the year the rivers seems to be asleep.But in the time of rain they wake up like a Dragon which we see in the Hollywood films.The condition of the Guide Bandhs  are in the worst condition.I saw in the river Ajay near bhimgarh its critically damaged.The authority should take the necessary steps that the people can sleep in nothing but not in worry.
