Once Che Guevara quoted “The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to
make it fall.”
The
recent student agitation in Bengal is in its new dimension. There should be
debate if they are doing right or Wrong. It is said that the Students are the
pillars and future of the Society. Students
have the duty in this society to maintain the well being. Students do
not compromise with any negative things. The role of students in every
revolution in this world is memorable. Student is not just a term, it is a
symbol . Everybody has enough respect for this term.
But
in now a days, the agitation of students in every sector is intolerable. The
are doing agitation for their absurd demand. The issues such as Quota system in
Visva Bharati. The local guys of Bolpur-Santiniketan think that Visva Bharati
is their own property. And The central varsity is Like “Bhubandanga College” .
The maximum of its staff and students belongs to local area. It is a
confrontation between Globalism and Regionalism. In UGC rule their should
be equal opportunity for all to get admission in all the University and it will
be based on merit not by grouping. If the people of the Kharagpur thinks that
they should have first priority to get admission in IIT-Kharagpur, everyone say
that it is absurd. Because the admission is totally based on the merit list
came form Joint Entrance Exam. But in this Varsity there is two system one is admission
through merit and Second one is admission of Staff ward. They assumes that it
is their fundamental right to be promoted in all the School to University level
without any hesitation. And it is also their birth right to get first
preference to the various types of Job. If anybody want to break this tradition
, they will stop the system. The will do massacre.
Bangladesh
President shorten his recent visit for the agitation, and its shames the India.
It
was founded by Rabindranath Tagore who
called it Visva Bharati,
which means the communion of the world with India. After its establishment this
become one of India's most renowned places of higher learning, with a list of
alumni that includes Nobel-winning economist Amartya Sen, globally renowned filmmaker Satyajit Ray and the country's leading art historian, R. Siva Kumar, Mahasweta Devi, noted author, Syed Mujtaba
Ali, novelist and littérateur to name just a few.
The
agitatators are becoming more enthusiasm from the Media Coverage. The copies of
national media and by-line copies in esteemed dailies boosting the agitators.
They are giving bytes to the media, as they are doing this agitation for a very
noble cause.
It
is central funded university. The control of Central government should be
tighten. As BHU, JNU and others are growing day by day, Visva Bharati is deteriorating .
